Permanent Position | Full-Time | Kumeū

ASAP but flexible start date
Hours are approximately Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with the potential to increase to Monday to Friday for the right nanny.

A warm and welcoming family in Kumeū are looking for an experienced nanny to care for their energetic and outgoing son, Mr T (3 years). This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys spending their days with busy toddlers and loves getting out and about exploring parks, playgrounds, swimming, gymnastics and other age-appropriate activities.

Mr T is a happy, affectionate and curious little boy with a big personality. He enjoys chatting, reading books and staying active. The family are hoping to find a nanny who can match his energy while providing a calm, nurturing and consistent environment.

The role is primarily focused on caring for Mr T throughout the day, including planning engaging activities, encouraging learning through play, preparing his meals and supporting his growing independence. Child-related household tasks such as tidying play areas and preparing meals are also appreciated when time allows.

The family are looking for a warm, organised and child-centred nanny who has a good understanding of child development and enjoys supporting learning through everyday experiences. They value kind, age-appropriate boundaries and are hoping to find someone who is confident in guiding behaviour with patience, respect and consistency.

Mum works from home approximately 30% of the time and is mindful of allowing the nanny to take the lead during the day. The family enjoy an active lifestyle and also have two friendly cats and a golden retriever, so being comfortable around pets is important.
This position will suit a nanny who is fun, proactive and enjoys building genuine relationships with children and their families. The family are hoping to find someone who will become a long-term part of their lives.
