Start date 10 June 2026, with the opportunity to spend 2 settling-in days alongside the family’s current nanny prior to taking over the role independently.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 6.00 pm.
This role centres around caring for Miss I, a happy and easy-going 2.5-year-old who enjoys learning, imaginative play, books, playground outings and attending playgroup activities throughout the week. The family also have a cat named Stevie who is part of the household.
Both parents work as hospital doctors with long working hours, so reliability and confidence in managing the day independently will be particularly important in this role. The family are hoping to find someone experienced, proactive and organised who can become a steady and trusted part of their routine over the long term.
The role will involve full care throughout the day, including meal preparation, nappy changes, washing for Miss I and keeping her play spaces tidy at the end of the day. The family are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys planning activities, getting out of the house and supporting learning and development through play and everyday experiences. Regular outings such as playgroups, swimming, gymnastics and trips to local playgrounds would form a natural part of the week.
Miss I is described as a very chilled and content little girl who enjoys social interaction and learning through engagement with the people and environment around her. The family are particularly interested in supporting her growing language and social development and would love a nanny who enjoys talking, reading and interacting throughout the day.
This position will suit a nanny who is reliable, punctual and flexible, with previous nanny experience and a genuine enjoyment of this age group. The family would also appreciate someone who is occasionally able to stay later if work commitments unexpectedly run over.
