A family in Avondale are looking for a calm, reliable and nurturing nanny to care for their daughter, Miss A (1 year). Their home includes a gentle Golden Retriever and a safe, fully fenced outdoor area, creating a lovely environment for someone who enjoys both children and animals.
Miss A is described as a happy and affectionate little girl with a cheeky personality. She enjoys songs, books, sensory play and exploring the world around her. The family value responsive, screen-free care, consistent routines and nutritious meals, and are hoping to find someone who naturally aligns with this approach.
The role will involve full day care including nappy changes, meal preparation, feeding, settling for naps and planning engaging age-appropriate activities throughout the day. Light child-related household tasks may also be involved. A parent may occasionally be working from home.
The family are looking for someone calm, organised and genuinely engaged with young children who enjoys supporting learning and development through everyday play, interaction and routine. Reliability, warmth and good communication are particularly important to them.
This position will suit a nanny experienced caring for toddlers who is looking for a stable and welcoming long-term role within a relaxed family environment.
