Ideal start date July 2026 (with opportunity for a settling in period prior)
Hours are Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am to 12.30pm, with some flexibility around the Friday hours. (approx. 12 hours per week)
A warm and thoughtful family are looking to welcome a calm and attentive nanny into their home to care for their daughter, Miss G (approximately 1 year). Both parents have busy professional roles and are looking for a nanny who can provide consistent, nurturing care in a relaxed home environment.
Miss G is a gentle and inquisitive little girl who enjoys taking in the world around her. She loves music, books and being talked to, and thrives on connection and engagement. She is curious and observant, enjoying new experiences and stimulation throughout the day. She currently follows a settled routine with naps and enjoys exploring both indoors and outdoors.
The role will involve full care of Miss G including nappy changes, feeding, supporting her routine, and planning age appropriate activities that encourage her development and curiosity. She attends daycare three days per week, so this role focuses on providing quality one on one care on the days she is at home.
Mum will often be working from home, however the role will be sole charge during working hours.
The ideal candidate will be calm, nurturing and engaged, with experience caring for infants. Someone who is attentive, enjoys building a strong bond with a child and can support routines while also introducing new and stimulating experiences will be well suited to this role. An understanding of or interest in Samoan language and culture would be a bonus.
This is a lovely opportunity to support a thoughtful family and care for a sweet, curious little girl in a calm and well structured environment.
