A family in Milford are looking for a warm, dependable and conscientious nanny to care for their daughter, Miss M (approximately 11 months old). This is a lovely opportunity to work with a family who place strong value on attachment-based parenting, responsive care and creating a nurturing environment where their child can thrive.
Miss M is described as a happy, smiley little girl who loves music, books and exploring the world around her. She is curious, engaged and eager to experience new things, and the family are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with children at this age and supporting their development through play and everyday experiences.
The role will involve engaging in age-appropriate play, reading, walks and outings, preparing simple meals and snacks, supporting her nap routine and helping with light child-related tasks such as baby laundry and tidying play areas. The family follow a device-free approach to childcare and are hoping to find someone who can provide attentive, engaged care throughout the afternoon.
Mum works from home in a separate office and will generally be available if needed, however the nanny will be responsible for Miss M’s care during working hours. The family are also supporting her developing communication skills through sign language and everyday interaction, and would love a nanny who enjoys encouraging language, curiosity and confidence through responsive care.
The family are hoping to find someone kind, playful and reliable who can become a trusted part of their daughter’s life over time. A North Shore based nanny would be highly regarded, as the family are looking for a long-term arrangement and would like future location changes within the Shore area to remain practical for both parties.
