Starting February 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
2 to 3 days per week (with the option for full time for the first few weeks/month)
Hours approximately 9.00am to 4.30pm (flexible for the right candidate)
Warm, welcoming family of four are looking for a kind, fun and experienced nanny to join them on a part time basis. Mum and Dad are both professionals, with Mum working from home full time (different part of house). The family values learning, creativity and quality time together and are excited to welcome a nanny who will fit naturally into their home.
Care will be primarily for Miss 2, a calm, sweet but cheeky toddler who loves exploring, socialising and playing one on one. Her personality is beginning to shine and she enjoys singing, dancing and reading as well as outings. Some care will also be required for her older brother, Mr 8, particularly outside school hours. He is fun, energetic and thoughtful, with a love of reading, outdoor play, board games and STEM style activities. Like any typical 8 year old boy, he is passionate and can be full of feelings. He enjoys spending time with his sister and independently.
The role is mainly sole charge and would suit a nanny or ECE qualified candidate who is comfortable with a parent working from home full time and is confident caring for children of different ages and personalities. The family takes a gentle but structured approach to childcare, setting clear boundaries while encouraging independence, curiosity and kindness. Screens are kept to a minimum and the family values learning through everyday experiences.
Duties will primarily be child focused and include caring for Miss 2 and support with Mr 8 outside school hours. The role comes with supporting family daily routines, engaging in play and outings, and setting up activities, meal preparation, laundry and keeping play areas and kitchen tidy.
The ideal candidate will be fun, creative, patient, proactive and responsible, with previous nanny or ECE experience. Someone who can entertain children indoors and enjoys being outdoors, creating engaging activities and building strong relationships with children will thrive in this role.
