Ideal start date 15 April 2026 (negotiable)
Hours are ideally 9.00am to 3.00pm Tuesday to Friday, however some flexibility is available for the right candidate.
A sporty, down to earth family are looking to welcome a warm and nurturing nanny into their home to care for their newborn baby boy. This is a short term position through to 1 July, with the potential to resume again following a period overseas in July and August.
The child is Mr. B (newborn). He is currently in those early newborn days, described as a content little baby who enjoys sleeping on a caregiver and is settling well into a routine. The family are beginning to introduce a bottle alongside breastfeeding, so a nanny who is confident supporting this transition would be ideal.
The family live an active lifestyle and enjoy getting out and about, with walks being a big part of their day. They also have a friendly one year old Retriever who is very much part of the family, so a nanny who is comfortable around dogs and happy to include them in daily walks will be well suited to this role.
The role will involve full care of Mr. B including nappy changing, bottle feeding, settling and supporting his daily routine. There may also be some light family tasks such as preparing simple meals or collecting groceries. Walking the dog would be appreciated but is not essential.
Both parents work outside of the home, however Dad travels frequently for work and Mum may be away for periods as well, so the nanny will play an important role in providing consistent, reliable support in the home.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with newborns, calm and confident, and able to provide gentle, responsive care. Someone who enjoys working with young babies, is flexible in their approach and happy to support a first time family will thrive in this role.
This is a lovely opportunity to support a young family during those early months and build a strong connection in a relaxed home environment, with the possibility of continuing the role later in the year.
