At Red Robin Nanny Agency, we aim to find the best educator for your family, ensuring your children reach their full potential in a safe, nurturing home environment.

Our team understands the needs of modern families and is passionate about creating powerful partnerships, facilitating the perfect match between Red Robin families and their nanny/educator.

Families can choose from two pathways with us: enrolling in our Little Robins Programme for children 5 and under, or opting for a General Placement for children of any age.
Every educator or nanny who joins Red Robin completes our comprehensive 7-step safety checking procedure, including police vetting, qualification verification, first aid certification checks, employment history review and professional development. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Red Robin is fully licensed through the Ministry of Education, providing quality support, educational resources and guidance for families and nannies alike.

SUPPORTING FAMILIES THROUGH OUR PROGRAMMES:

Little Robins Programme

(Ages 0–5) ​
Our Little Robins Programme is designed for children 5 and under, using available ECE hours. Families can split hours — even if your child attends daycare or kindy, we can claim remaining hours.
  • Monthly visits from a qualified ECE Visiting Teacher, supporting your child’s learning and development
  • Ongoing on-call support for both families and educators
  • Access to our educational support programme, aligned with Te Whāriki
  • Daily Diary (Educator Manual) to support communication and consistency of care
  • Access to Storypark for online communication and learning portfolios
  • Regular playgroups, excursions, and community events, supporting children’s social development
  • Opportunities for educators and children to connect during working hours, encouraging socialisation and shared learning experiences
  • Monthly age-appropriate activities, including complimentary art and sensory packs
  • Fully licensed Ministry of Education provider
  • Up to $65 per week, per child in MOE subsidies
  • Comprehensive recruitment and 7-step safety checking process
  • Ministry of Education-approved Civil Defence and First Aid kits provided in the home for safety and preparedness
  • Subsidised one-off recruitment fee of $295 +GST

General Placements

(Children of Any Age or ECE Hours Fully Used) ​
General Placements (Children of Any Age or ECE Hours Fully Used) Our General Placements service provides professional recruitment for children who are 6 years or older, or for families whose ECE hours are fully used. This service is flexible and tailored to your family’s needs, whether it’s a few hours a week, before/after school care, or full-time support. Key Features:
