Permanent Position | Part-Time | Auckland Central

Ideal start date around November 2026, flexible
Hours: Ideally Tuesday and Wednesday, approximately 9.00am to 3.00pm, with the potential to add Thursday. The family have flexibility around the days and hours and are happy to discuss what could work with interested candidates.

A family in Auckland Central are looking for a warm, caring and experienced nanny to care for their baby girl, Miss P, who will be around four months old when the role begins.

Miss P is their first child and, while still very young, is so far a happy and easygoing little baby. The family are looking for someone confident and comfortable with babies who will provide nurturing, attentive care while supporting her development as she grows. Her days will include feeding, naps, nappy changes, play, interaction and plenty of age-appropriate learning and stimulation

Mum may be home at times during nanny hours, depending on the week. Dad works out of Auckland several days each week. The family would love to find someone who can confidently take the lead with Miss P while naturally fitting into the rhythm of their home.

Alongside caring for Miss P, they are looking for someone happy to provide some practical household support when time allows. This may include keeping on top of family laundry, loading or emptying the dishwasher, bottles and sterilising, keeping kitchen surfaces tidy and helping with the general day-to-day organisation of the home. Some simple food preparation would also be welcomed if this is something the nanny enjoys, but is not a major expectation. The family have a weekly cleaner, so this is not a cleaning role and Miss P’s care will always come first.

Their ideal nanny will be warm, caring and confident with young babies, with good previous childcare experience.
The family also have a much-loved rescue cat, so their nanny will need to be comfortable having a feline companion around the home!
