A warm and busy Mount Albert family are looking for a caring, energetic nanny to join them as they welcome their third baby in October. With two young girls already in the family and a new baby on the way, they are looking for someone who can become a trusted extra pair of hands and grow with their family over the long term.
Miss H (3 years) and Miss L (1 year) are both happy, social and energetic little girls who love being outdoors and trying new things. Miss H is currently enjoying imaginative and pretend play, while Miss L loves being involved in whatever is happening around her. Both girls are curious, outgoing and enjoy plenty of interaction and activity.
The nanny will initially help care for the girls while Mum is at home with the new baby, with the role gradually developing into more regular care of the baby when Mum returns to work. The family are flexible around the days and hours initially, with Thursdays and a half day Friday preferred. From around May or June 2027, they anticipate the role increasing to approximately three days per week.
The role will include caring for the children, supporting their routines and development through play and everyday experiences, preparing meals and snacks, and helping with the practical parts of family life. There will also be some bottle feeding as the baby gets older. Light household support such as tidying up, children’s laundry and preparing dinner for the family will form part of the role. Taking the family dog for a walk would be a bonus, but is not essential.
The family are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children and is happy to get involved, have fun and encourage learning through play and new experiences.
