Hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm, 2 days per week. There may occasionally be opportunities for an additional day, however this would not be guaranteed.
This role centres around caring for Miss R, a young baby who is still in the early months of life. The family are looking for an experienced newborn nanny who can provide calm, nurturing and confident support as Mum balances family life and work within the family business.
Miss R is described as a sweet, alert and loving little girl who enjoys closeness, interaction and being soothed. She currently wears a Rhino harness and continues to need extra support with settling and daytime sleep, so the family are hoping to find someone experienced with young babies who feels confident following her routine and providing the reassurance she needs throughout the day.
The role is primarily focused on Miss R’s care, including bottle feeds, nappy and outfit changes, play, interaction and supporting her daily routines. During naps, the family are very relaxed and are happy for their nanny to take some downtime, with only occasional baby-related laundry if needed.
Mum will often be home working nearby and the family are hoping to find someone who feels like a natural fit within their household over the long term. They describe themselves as down-to-earth, family-oriented and easygoing, and would love Riley to build a strong and familiar bond with the same nanny over time.
The family also have three friendly dogs who are very much part of daily life, so being comfortable around animals is important. They would also love to find someone who may be open to occasional evening, weekend or overnight babysitting in the future, although this is entirely optional.
This position will suit an experienced newborn nanny who is warm, proactive and confident supporting babies through routines, settling and sleep. Experience caring for babies with additional physical support needs, such as a harness, would be highly regarded.
